Not far away, John and Teddy sat side by side on high bar stools. Thirty-year-old John raised his glass and took a sip, but his eyes never stopped wandering, hungrily scanning the crowd for attractive women. “I’m definitely getting laid tonight.” Teddy held his drink with both paws and turned to look at him, his face filled with disbelief. “You seriously ditch your friends the second you see a pretty girl. I thought we agreed we were just coming out to dance and have a few drinks tonight.” John wasn’t listening at all. He kept craning his neck, searching the crowd. Less than two seconds later, his eyes locked onto a long-haired woman in a tight-fitting dress—twenty-six-year-old Lisa.
